Drawing on an international performing career and extensive teaching experience, Mayumi Sakamoto offers practical piano lessons tailored to each student’s goals and individuality.
The lessons focus not only on technique, but also on deepening musical understanding and expression, and on developing the ability to communicate through performance.

Lessons for adults
Lessons for adult pianists are tailored to each person’s experience and goals.
For those interested, informal piano gatherings are held periodically, welcoming adult learners of all levels to share performances and enjoy music together.

Lesson formats
Tokyo salon
Lessons are held at a Tokyo salon three minutes’ walk from Shimo-takaido Station on the Keio and Tokyu Setagaya lines, using a Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand piano.
Kansai
Lessons are also available in the Kansai area. Please enquire about the location and arrangements.
